Plan your tour

A visit to Cracovia History Centre is a journey through 120 years of the history of Poland’s oldest club – and through the part of the stadium open to visitors, including the stand, the tunnel and pitch level.

You can tour the exhibition at your own pace, using the materials available on site and a dedicated website with a fascinating Audio Guide in Polish, English, Spanish and Italian (more languages are planned). To explore the exhibition at a relaxed pace with our audio guide, set aside about 50 minutes.

The website is free to use – just scan the QR code at the entrance to Cracovia History Centre. With your ticket you will discover not only the remarkable history of the club, but also see the stadium and the VIP zone.

Accessibility

Due to stairs along the tour route and the lack of lift access, the current route is not fully accessible to visitors with mobility impairments.

We are working on a solution. In the near future we plan to launch guided visits with an assistant who will help you explore the exhibition comfortably.

The tour with the phone-based audio guide was prepared according to accessibility principles and meets WCAG requirements – we've applied solutions that support visitors with visual and hearing impairments.

Visiting with children

Cracovia's history can be fascinating at any age.

Visiting with a stroller is possible. You can leave the stroller temporarily at reception.

Admission for children under 3 is free.

Group visits

Planning a visit with a school class, a group of friends or an organised tour?

We offer museum visits for groups of 25 to 45 people.

Guided tours are available for groups. Group visits require booking in advance.

The neighbourhood

Cracovia's stadium sits in the heart of Zwierzyniec – one of Kraków's greenest and most atmospheric districts, so it's worth staying a little longer.

Right next door are the Błonia meadows and Jordan Park – the place where football first appeared in Kraków, as early as 1896. A few steps further you’ll find the National Museum, the iconic Hotel Cracovia and Kijów Cinema, a good spot for a coffee.

Head down towards Salwator, wander the streets the people of Zwierzyniec walk every day, and drop by the local Plac na Stawach market for homemade jams and cheeses from nearby farmers. And if you fancy something completely different, a bus to Kraków Zoo leaves from the stop right by the stadium. The Main Market Square is less than a 10-minute walk away.

FAQ

What does a visit to the History Centre look like, and how long does it take?
You explore on your own, at your own pace – just scan the QR code at the entrance and follow Robert Makowski’s audio guide. The whole route takes about an hour, but you can stop at any point and come back to it later.
Can I buy a ticket just for the stadium tour?
A ticket to Cracovia History Centre also covers part of the stadium tour – the VIP stand and VIP zone, and the walk out of the tunnel to pitch level. We don’t sell a separate “stadium only” ticket; everything is part of one visit.
What languages is the audio guide available in?
The recordings are available in Polish, English, Spanish and Italian – the same languages the thematic paths and quiz work in.
Do I need my own headphones?
You don’t have to, but it’s worth bringing them. The audio guide plays in your phone’s browser, so it also works through the speaker – headphones are simply more comfortable, especially when there are more people in the Centre.
Will the recording stop if I check the map or lock my phone?
It may stop – that’s normal browser behaviour. Go back to the page with the recording and press play to resume listening from exactly the same spot.
Can I book a guide for a larger group?
Yes, groups of 25 to 45 people can tour Cracovia History Centre with a guide – this requires booking in advance and agreeing on a date, but you’ll be able to visit more rooms. Write to us at zwiedzanie@cracovia.pl for details.
Where can I buy tickets?
Only at the Fan Service Point by the stadium, on the ul. Kałuży 1 side. We don’t sell tickets online.
Is the History Centre open on match days?
No, the Centre is closed on match days and public holidays. You'll find Cracovia's fixture list on the club's official website.
How do I get to the Cracovia History Centre?
Public transport is the most convenient option – the nearest stops are about a 3-minute walk away and are served by trams and buses heading to “Muzeum Narodowe” or “Cracovia Błonia”. If you come by car, use the paid car park on site. You’ll find more details in the “How to find us” section of the visitor information page.
Can I visit the museum with a pet?
Aside from assistance dogs, pets unfortunately can't join you on the exhibition.
Can I visit as a wheelchair user?
The current route includes stairs and there is no lift, so it is not yet fully accessible to wheelchair users, but you will be able to see most of it. We are working on assisted tours – ask our staff before your visit and we’ll gladly help you plan it as comfortably as possible.
Can I bring my child?
Absolutely – for younger visitors we’ve prepared elements that let them learn about the club’s history in a more engaging way. You can leave a stroller at reception, and children under 3 visit for free.
